The competition
is open to 3rd, 4th and 5th year primary-school children and 1st and 2nd year lower middle-school children who have the “A treasure for eating” teaching kit. This competition is designed so that teachers can develop and explore the various themes within this kit with the children in class. What could be more fun than having the children invent their own themed game?
Nuts and bolts
The competition is to design and make a board game, similar to “Snakes and Ladders”, using the teaching material in “A treasure for eating”. The board should be divided into squares, and players have to follow a route through the production phases until they have made a Grana Padano wheel.
Graphic design
The board should be designed on cardboard and be a maximum of 50 x 70 cm. There is no set graphics layout, so each child can give free rein to their creativity! Likewise, the children can also design their own background, an illustrated area (using a drawing or a photograph) and an area for some text. Entrants may use any colours or drawing techniques.Classes also have to think up a title for their game and include it on the board.
