New Year's Dinners
Nowadays habit has killed the enjoyment of New Year's dinners as the same dishes are prepared year in year out. Every one knows in advance exactly what the evening holds in store.
The youngest shout:
Bury the memory! Let's start the year in a completely different fashion!
Three gramophones are used as tables, and women pick sugared sweets, Grana cheese and hard-boiled eggs from the turntables, whilst three different styles of Japanese music accompany the meal.
